To hang out with Lola D'Lish and Bindi Baby of course, have you seen those girls? But besides that perk, it's so rewarding to bring a little happiness and relief to those who are having a difficult time and need some help. The Devoted Dolls are a great group of ladies that make hard work fun, and we get to be dolled up while doing it!
2. What do you enjoy most about belonging to a group like DD?There is always a new charity to work with and we can always find new ways to help. The girls being awesome to work with and fun to be around is an added bonus.
3. How did you choose your "pinup" name?Dina is my middle name, my mom picked it in honor of her mom, my Mama Ina, one of the most charitable people who ever lived. Up until Devoted Dolls only Lola has ever called me Dina, since she's my bestie and she co-founded Devoted Dolls it made perfect sense to pick it. At every event I try to remember to live up to the legacy of the amazing woman I was named for.
4. If you could have lunch with ANY person (fictional, real, alive, deceased, etc) who would it be, and why?My Mama Ina, my blessed life began because she was a brave independent woman who worked hard for a better life for her children. Once she got that better life she didn't rest even though she was always sick, she kept helping others who wanted a better life as well. She passed way too soon when I was only 10, she endured and experienced so much in life I wish I could talk to her about.
5. Which charity is nearest to your heart, and why?So many!! And of course I love people and human charities are number one but I am gonna give a shout out to animal rescues and shelters because they affect me most on a daily basis. My puppies Harper and Linkin bring me such joy and to think they could have been put to sleep at the pound had it not been for rescues that saved them and loved them until I was lucky enough to meet them and bring them home. Linkin was an extremely special case, he was abandoned at the pound and picked up by a rescue who tried adopting him out 3 or 4 times but he was returned each time due to his high social anxiety. The rescue was patient and committed to keeping him until he found a home that was a good fit. It took a while for him to feel safe and loved and he still has some issues but my family would not be complete without him.

6. If you had a personal motto, what would it be?Be the change you want to see in the world - Ghandi
It's not only true when talking about social issues or charity but life in general.
7. Tell us something interesting, funny or special about yourself (hidden talents, special interests, etc)I won the spelling bee in Second grade at my school but lost at the regional competition on the word soar, I spelled sour instead. It's still kinda a sore subject ;P
Also, I was elected treasurer of my school in 6th grade and I went to college on a math scholarship, true story, so no worries dolls I've got experience AND skills, you're in good hands.
8. What TV character do you most relate to?Growing up I was very Darlene from Roseanne, nowadays I'm probably more of a Liz Lemon from 30 Rock. Blerg.
9. If you were granted 3 wishes what would they be?1. Completely free awesome quality healthcare, including mental healthcare, for all!
2. Enough money for my parents to be able to retire comfortably and to pay for all my little loves college education.
3. A thousand more wishes. Always wish for a thousand more wishes.
10. Name 3 things you can't live without.Love, Laughter and a nice full glass of red wine ;)
11. Who is someone that inspires you?My parents who are so awesome on so many levels its unbelievable. They both were raised by widowed single mothers who worked harder then any of us could imagine to make ends meet. This made them the most hardworking, caring, genuine, smart, fun loving, faithful people who love with every piece of their hearts, dance until their feet hurt and laugh until their abs ache. I have the ability and heart to be a Devoted Doll because I learned from the best.
12. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Magic hair that glows when I sing and heals people of course ;)
so glad you are apart of this group and I get to spend even more time with you! Lola
